Escape rooms that will take you back in time

Do you like a good challenge?

If the answer is yes and you want to put your skills and teamwork to the test, we’ve got just the thing for you! These winter days, we propose some of our most cultural escape rooms: put yourself in the shoes of a king, live like the smugglers and miners of the 19th century or escape from a secret laboratory. These are just some of the tests you will have to pass. Do you accept the challenge?

Outdoor entertainment

If escape games are fun in their own right, imagine playing one in the great outdoors, in an urban setting or in the middle of the forest, all while immersing yourself in the more cultural side of Andorra. There are lots of different options.

Andorra Escapeland is a challenge that will put your ingenuity to the test through eight games that allow you to discover the country’s geography. All the games take place outdoors at locations in the seven parishes and at Pas de la Casa. They are based on different themes associated with historical events, curiosities, traditions and local architecture.

In Ordino and La Massana, Escape Andorra offers four thrilling and carefully staged challenges that will take you back to the Andorra of yesteryear. You can choose between being a smuggler in rural Andorra with Sornàs 1930, being the King of Andorra Boris I for a while, discovering the hidden lives of iron miners and porters in La Mina or unearth smugglers’ treasures in La Massana. Take the game to another level with 'Between Borders' and choose the location you like best. Travel back to World War II and cross the border of Andorra in less than 2 hours.

Take on the challenge and discover Andorra from a different perspective.

The younger kids can join in too!

Just like adults, children also enjoy clue-solving games. Atrapa la Serenalla (Catch the Serenalla Lizard) is a game especially designed to develop kids’ ingenuity, ability and skill. With just the help of an information booklet and their own ingenuity, children will have to solve all the clues and tests found along the route. The activity is recommended for children from aged 5 and over and is located in the interpretive circuit of the Natural Park of Comapedrosa, in La Massana. We recommend wearing shoes appropriate for the snow and warm clothes if you’d like to have a go in winter.

But that’s not all! Escape Andorra also has two children’s treasure hunt games. In 'Nature Explorers', children help Canòlich look for her lost friend and recover the magic potion she is carrying, while being very careful not to fall into the many traps along the way. You can play the game outdoors or at home. In 'Little Smugglers', Quico and Manela need the kids’ help and teach them how to be smugglers. This game is a great test of children's agility!

Have fun at a museum!

Culture can also be fun, and our museums are proof of that! You will find several fun and educational workshops, activities and options aimed at children. ‘Abracadabra’, ‘Els museus donen joc’ (Games at the Museum) and ‘l’Objecte intrús’ (The Odd One Out) are just some of the options you can find. You’ll be able to get closer to culture in a fun, easy and enjoyable way.

These activities only take place in the museums managed by the Government of Andorra so you can learn more about Andorran culture in a very enjoyable way. Find out more here.
